RS Polri is set to revisit the Glodok Plaza fire site to continue the search for remaining body parts. The team, including forensic experts and other relevant authorities, will be conducting a thorough inspection to complete the body recovery process. This is a part of their ongoing efforts to identify any additional victims and finalize the recovery of remains. The inspection is planned for February 21, 2025, and will involve several teams, including forensic medicine professionals, the police’s criminal investigation unit, and local fire and disaster management teams.

On Friday, February 21, 2025, the Bhayangkara Hospital of Polri (RS Polri) in Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, will return to the Glodok Plaza fire site in Taman Sari, West Jakarta, to search for any remaining body parts from the victims.

The complete team, including forensic experts from RS Polri, the Criminal Investigation Unit of the West Jakarta Police, the Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) team, and local fire and disaster management teams, will carry out this final phase of body recovery. The inspection is scheduled to begin at 08:00 WIB.

This is a continuation of efforts to fully recover and identify the victims from the devastating fire that occurred earlier in January 2025.

On Wednesday, February 19, 2025, the Bhayangkara Hospital of Polri (RS Polri) carried out a reconciliation process for the body bags of victims from the Glodok Plaza fire in West Jakarta. This process is a critical step in identifying the victims, as it involves matching ante mortem (pre-death) and post mortem (post-death) data to ensure accurate identification.

RS Polri has received a total of 16 body bags since the fire occurred on January 15, 2025. The reconciliation of 14 of these bags took place on February 19, while the process is ongoing to confirm the identities of the victims involved in this tragic event.
It was confirmed that two of the 14 body bags received from the Glodok Plaza fire site in West Jakarta did not contain body parts of the victims. This was determined after repeated examinations were conducted by forensic doctors and forensic odontologists. The thorough checks ensured that these two bags did not hold human remains from the fire victims.

RS Polri has successfully identified six of the 14 victims reported missing in the Glodok Plaza fire in West Jakarta, which occurred on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.

The identified victims are:

  1. Zukhi F Rahdja, a 42-year-old male, identified through DNA testing.
